The ideal candidate for this role will report directly to the Cluster General Manager and possess strong leadership skills. It is essential that they understand the critical balance between catering to our guests` needs, managing a cohesive team, and maintaining financial success. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for achieving the hotel`s commercial objectives. The role-
Provide day-to-day leadership driving the business strategy in all areas of the operation
- Drive sales and revenue, balancing costs against these so that we meet our business targets
- Be charismatic, engaging and people centric - they will always know what`s going on with the team
- Have good commercial skills and awareness- making decisions that make sound business sense.
- Know how to analyse and manage the hotel commercially.
- Have strong IT skills and use digital platforms well.
- Develop and lead the people culture of the property with engaging and committed communication.
- Work well with the central support teams, implementing group strategies whilst also driving local activity
- Have previous experience as a Hotel General Manager in a similar style property.
- Knowledge and experience of redevelopments is an advantage.
