Sous Chef – Daytime Shifts, Private Members Clubhouse, Hampshire

An amazing opportunity for an experience Sous Chef to work in a beautiful private members club bringing social, work and wellbeing together under one roof. With a huge focus on sustainable dining and local seasonal produce this opportunity allows the Sous and Head Chef to develop menus, specials with autonomy over event pop ups showcase. This role is predominantly daytime hours 32-40 hours per week. Due to rural location you must be able to drive.

The Perks Of The Role

As Sous Chef you will receive:

• Salary of £25,000 to £31,000 per annum plus service charge.
• 32-40 hour week – predominately daytime (7am-3pm or 8am-4pm)
• Every other weekend off.

The Company

Situated on a family-run arable farm in the Hampshire countryside, this clubhouse brings together work, wellbeing and social space under one roof. It was conceived by a farming couple who, after many years in agriculture and diversification, decided to create a high-spec retreat where members can work (private offices, hot desks), exercise (gym, treatment rooms, studio) and connect (café, bar, events) in a rural but design-led setting. Being a sustainable concept their focus is on local, seasonal produce with a daily rotating menu, specials and homemade food across their breakfast and lunch menu.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a Sous Chef who’s has the following skills and experience:

• Experience in sustainable dining.
• Sous chef with menu creativity and experience in autonomy of their own dishes.
• Passionate and driven.
• Knowledge of seasonal, local British produce.
• Must have fresh food experience.
• Highly organised with an eye for detail.
• Team player is essential.
• Reliable and hard working is a must.
• Strong communication skills and a polished approach.
• Can do attitude and team player mentality.
• Driving is essential due to rural location – close to Odiham, Hampshire.
